How do you add dropdowns in the Menu widget?
Organize your menu with dropdowns and nested links
1. Select the Menu widget
2. Click "Edit" or left-click twice on the Menu widget to prompt the new window that appears in Step 3.
3. You can see that menu items also have submenu items and sub-submenu items. This is how you create dropdowns for the menu. We will demonstrate this on the "Beliefs" menu item in the screenshots below.
4. To make menu items become submenus and sub-submenus, slightly drag the menu item to the right. The screenshot below demonstrates that the "Beliefs" menu item is now a sub-menu for the "Pastors & Team" menu item.
5. This is how it will look on the live preview. You can see that "Pastors & Team" has a dropdown now.
6. This screenshot demonstrates that "Beliefs" is now a sub-submenu item for "Pastors & Team." The "Beliefs" menu item was moved further to the right. If you want it to no longer be a submenu item, you should move it further to the left instead of the right.
7. This is how it will look on the live preview. You can see that the "About" menu item has a dropdown where "Pastors & Team" is the submenu and "Beliefs" is its sub-submenu.
There can only be three input levels in the Menu widget - menu items, submenu items, and sub-submenu items.
8. You can move a block of menu items to the left or right. To do so, hold the left mouse button on the six dotted icons of a menu item that contains submenu items and sub-submenus.
9. Click "Save Menu" to update the menu.
10. Now you have a menu with a dropdown. Click "Close".
11. Click "Save" for the changes to reflect on the page.
