Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a New Tag


Tags help categorize and organize donors, making it easier to track engagement, interests, and giving behaviors. Follow these steps to create a new tag within your dashboard.

1. Navigate to the Configuration Tab

  • In your Organizational Dashboard, click on Configuration in the top-right corner.
  • In the left-hand menu, select Tags to access the tag management section.

2. Add a New Tag

  • Click the blue "Add Tag" button in the top-right corner.
  • A new window will appear where you can enter tag details.

3. Define Tag Details

  • Name Your Tag – Choose a short, descriptive name (e.g., Gold for top donors or Volunteer for helpers).
  • Assign a Category – Select the category this tag belongs to (e.g., Favorite Color or Donor Level).
  • Add a Description (Optional) – Provide additional context about the tag’s purpose.

4. Save the Tag

  • Click "Save" to finalize your tag.
  • The new tag will now appear in your Tags List, ready to be assigned to donors.

  • Tags can be applied to donor profiles to track engagement, participation, or preferences.
