How to Embed Your Connect Panel on Your Website

Easily Add Connect to Your Church’s Website in Minutes

 

Adding Connect to your church’s website ensures visitors can engage with you instantly through live chat, event announcements, and other interactive tools. Here’s how to embed your Connect panel step by step.

1. Copy Your Connect Embed Code

Step 1: Locate the Code in Your Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Connect Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Panel Settings → Install Code.
  3. Click Copy to Clipboard to copy your embed code.

✅ This code needs to be placed in your website’s header or footer to activate the Connect panel.

2. Add the Code to Your Website Builder

For Omega Website Users

If your church uses Omega by Ministry Designs, embedding is super simple:

  1. Go to your Omega website builder.
  2. Click Settings in the top navigation.
  3. Select Code Injection.
  4. Paste the embed code into the header or footer section.
  5. Turn off Inject Code Inside the Control Panel (this prevents it from displaying inside the builder).
  6. Click Save.

🎉 That’s it! Your Connect panel will now appear on your website.

For Other Website Builders

If your church uses a different website platform, follow these general steps:

  1. Log into your website editor.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Custom Code or Header/Footer Scripts.
  3. Paste the Connect embed code into the header or footer section.
  4. Save & publish your changes.

💡 Where should you place the code?

  • In the footer (recommended) → Loads Connect on all pages without affecting speed.
  • In the header → Loads Connect immediately when a visitor lands on your site.

3. Verify Your Embed Code

Step 3: Confirm the Installation

  1. Copy your website’s URL.
  2. Return to Settings → Install Code in your Connect Dashboard.
  3. Paste your URL into the Verify Embed Code field.
  4. Click View & Verify Installation.

✅ If Connect is successfully installed, it will load on your site and show a confirmation message.
