How to Use Blog Search Widget?
How to add a search bar to help users find blog content quickly
1. The Search widget allows visitors to quickly find specific posts or content within the blog by typing in keywords. Instead of browsing through categories or tags, users can enter a search term to locate relevant information. This improves navigation and user experience, especially for blogs with many posts. Drag and drop the Search widget on the page
2. Select the Search widget to edit the settings described in step 3 and further
3. If needed, specify an anchor in the Search widget. An anchor is a link that allows users to jump directly to search results without having to scroll. For more information on anchors, please refer to this guide
4. Select the "Synchronize with Filters" checkbox if you need to combine the results with the Filters widget. When users select a category and tag through the Filters widget, the Search widget will only display results from posts that match both the chosen category and tag.
5. If needed, you can rename the search input placeholder to something else
6. Click the pencil icon if you need to change the search icon. If you need to delete it, click the bin icon
7. Click the toggle button to show the submit button in the Search widget. If the toggle button is turned off, the search can be initiated by using the Enter button on your keyboard
8. If needed, you can rename the submit button to something else
9. Specify the layout for the submit button. It can be horizontal or vertical. If you select a vertical layout, you can also adjust the alignment of the submit button for different devices. Click each device icon to change the alignment on each screen resolution. Additionally, you can specify the spacing between the field and the button. It can be 0, small, medium, or large.
