1. What Is the Video Showcase Tool?

The Video Showcase Tool enables you to:
✅ Feature sermon series, event recaps, and other videos in an organized playlist.
✅ Display videos by category or section (e.g., “Sunday Sermons,” “Testimonies,” or “Worship Highlights”).
✅ Embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or upload custom videos directly into your panel.
✅ Auto-play videos for immediate engagement or allow users to select what to watch.

2. Adding the Video Showcase Tool to Your Panel

Step 1: Access the Video Showcase Tool

  1. Log in to your Connect Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Customize Tools.
  3. Click “Add Tool” and select Video Showcase.
  4. Click the down arrow next to the tool to open settings.

Step 2: Naming and Display Settings

  • In Tool Title, rename it to describe the content being displayed.
    ✅ Examples: “Recent Sermon Series,” “Worship Videos,” or “Testimonials.”
  • In Introduction Text, add a brief description of what visitors will find.
    ✅ Example: “Check out our most recent sermons and worship experiences.”
  • Under Visibility, select when this tool will be available:
    • Always (Recommended for sermons and general videos).
    • Working Hours Only (For time-sensitive video content like live streams.)
    • After Hours (For content available outside of regular service hours.)

Step 3: Creating Sections for Organization

The Video Showcase Tool allows you to group videos into sections for better navigation.

  1. Click “Add Section” at the bottom of the tool settings.
  2. Name the section based on the category of videos it will contain.

  3. Click Save to create the section.

  2. Enter:

    • Duration (e.g., 35 minutes)
    • Video Source: Choose from:
      ✅ YouTube/Vimeo Link (Recommended: Copy and paste the video URL.)
      ✅ Upload a Custom Video (Record and upload a video directly.)
      ✅ Embed a Third-Party Video Player (For custom video hosting solutions.)
  3. Click “Embed Video” to add it to the showcase.
